Incident 4/11/2018

At around 12:45am we were alerted by a member that he had put a reserved sign on his gaming machine and gone out for a smoke, on returning he found someone had cashed out the money left on his machine ($151.25). We notified police, identified the alleged thief on CCTV, saw she had left the premises immediately after taking the money and we retrieved her name and address from the sign in books. This was provided to the police on their arrival along with the CCTV. Whilst the police were speaking with the member the offender reentered the premises and was immediately questioned by police which led to her being charged and issued with a notice to appear in court.
